"The Golden Citizen Program"

 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
After many years in law enforcement, specifically on patrol, Captain Jason Katz felt that our seniors needed more attention.  They are the victims of many crimes because they have been labeled "easy targets" by criminals.  Hear how Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office has designed a program to try and change that thinking by teaching our seniors how to protect themselves and educate them on the ways they are targeted.  In addition, the Sheriff's Department has committed itself to keeping track of seniors and their various needs to keep them from being victimized.  If you have a senior in your life or if you are a senior you won't want to miss this program!

We meet from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the MCM Elegante Hotel on Menaul Blvd in Albuquerque.  Please RSVP to: http://www.wenm.org/page/page/995177.htm or e-mail us at albuqwe@yahoo.com  by January 6th at 5:00 PM to reserve your seat. See you there!
